The 'Post' never interviewed me

I would like to bring to your attention the article Violence
escalates in Aceh, 11 found dead in The Jakarta Post on page two,
of March 1, 2001, in which I was quoted in my capacity as
director of public information for the humanitarian pause in
Aceh.

In this context I would like to clarify that I was never
interviewed by a reporter from the Post and never gave
information as mentioned in the article. I would therefore like
the Post to clarify the matter.
