The Moments of the House Fire that Killed BPK Member Haerul Saleh

Member IV of the Financial Audit Board (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia, Haerul Saleh, passed away due to a fire disaster that occurred at his residence on Friday (8/5). Initial suspicions indicate the fire originated from remnants of thinner used in the house renovation at Jalan TB Simatupang No. 3, Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The fire incident was reported to the fire department around 07:53 WIB, and the extinguishing process was declared complete at 08:46 WIB. A total of 12 fire trucks and 48 personnel were deployed to the location to put out the flames. Through a post on Instagram, the BPK expressed condolences over the passing of Haerul Saleh in the incident.
