The Meaning of Ramadan for King Nassar: A Time for Gratitude and Worship
The dangdut singer, Nassar, sees the holy month of Ramadan as a golden opportunity to improve the quality of his worship and strengthen his sense of gratitude. The man, often referred to as ‘King Nassar’, said that the moment in the holy month of Ramadan is a time to celebrate life.
“Every year I always see Ramadan as full of joy, love, and happiness. There are those who come, there are those who go. There are those who are lost, there are those who are new. That is part of life,” he said, as quoted from the Antara website.
To face all the changes in life with inner peace, King Nassar chooses to focus more on worship. According to him, the essence of the fasting month is to appreciate the life that is still given by the Creator. “The point is that we are still given life, given breath, we worship,” he said.
For King Nassar, accepting joy and sorrow with sincerity is a destiny that must be faced. However, besides spiritual matters, he also still pays attention to his physical fitness.
In preparation for upcoming concerts, he regularly exercises by taking leisurely walks to maintain his stamina and keep his appearance in top condition. “I just walk more. Because there will be a concert, so that my body is in good shape,” he added.
In addition, King Nassar also pays attention to his appearance, such as having his hair neatly styled, so that he is always clean and fresh when facing the Creator. (H-3)
