The iPad mini 8’s arrival revealed through Apple’s website
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Apple has reportedly registered a Smart Folio accessory for its latest-generation iPad mini, the unreleased iPad mini 8, on its official regulatory website in France.
The listing is a sign that Apple plans to introduce a new-generation model in its compact tablet range.
MacRumors reported on Thursday (15 October), local time, that the protective case is listed under model number A3632. It is said to differ from the model numbers for cases made for both the current iPad mini and previous versions.
Although the website provides no technical specifications for the forthcoming iPad mini, the new Smart Folio model suggests that the device’s physical design may change.
Several rumours say the iPad mini 8 will bring major updates, including an OLED display and a more water-resistant design.
The tablet is expected to be officially launched on 27 or 28 October, alongside an OLED-screen MacBook Pro. The Smart Folio, model A3632, is strongly believed to have been designed specifically for the new OLED iPad mini.
