The final group of Karawang's prospective Hajj pilgrims has departed
Karawang, West Java — The final group of prospective Hajj pilgrims from Karawang Regency, comprising 19 people, in Group Flight (Kloter) 27, has been dispatched by the Karawang Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah from the Karawang Islamic Center to the Holy Land of Makkah.
The head of the Karawang Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Rojak, in Karawang on Tuesday, said that the Karawang pilgrims in Kloter 27 totalled 19 people.
The Karawang pilgrims in Kloter 27 joined pilgrims from Bogor Regency and Bogor City to complete the departure quota.
He stressed that although Kloter 27’s pilgrims were joining with other districts, technical coordination had been strengthened to ensure the pilgrims continued to receive maximum service.
“Kloter 27 is the last group to be dispatched. The number from Karawang is only 19 people,” he said.
The organisers regard the roles of the TNI, Polri, and the regency government as crucial in maintaining a smooth pace of dispatch.
“Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly and I would like to thank all parties,” he said.
It was noted that support from various related agencies made the process from the first to the last Kloter run without meaningful obstacles.
Meanwhile, this year’s Hajj season saw Karawang pilgrims divided into five Kloter groups, namely Kloter 4, which had previously departed on Friday, 24 April 2026. Then Kloter 9, which was to depart on Friday, 1 May 2026. Next Kloter 16, which departed on Sunday, 10 May 2026. Then Kloter 20 departed on Friday, 15 May 2026, and Kloter 27, which departed on Tuesday.
