Thailand Open reset for November

JAKARTA (JP): The International Badminton Federation announced
on Thursday that the three-star Thailand Open will take place
from Nov. 7 to Nov. 11 this year after its original schedule,
July 11 to July 15, was canceled.

The Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) was unable to
secure the necessary funds to stage the tournament and IBF Member
Associations were informed of its cancellation in mid-May.

BAT has rescheduled the tournament making it the concluding
event in the 2001 Grand Prix series. (yan)
