Thai Navy chief visits Cilangkap

JAKARTA: Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander Gen. Endriartono
Sutarto received Royal Thai Navy chief Adm. Chumbol Pachisanon at
the military headquarters in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Tuesday.

During the visit, Adm. Chumbol introduced himself as the
successor of Adm. Daleesak Somabha.

The Thai military delegation made the visit to enhance
military ties between the two countries.

Indonesia and Thailand have been working together to improve
security. Their militaries have also staged joint military
exercises.

Endriartono was accompanied by Navy chief Adm. Bernard Kent
Sondakh and military spokesman Maj. Gen. Sjafrie Sjamsuddin,
while Chumbol was accompanied by Padet W. Athan. -- Antara
