THAILAND: Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej has sent his
condolences to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono over
the deadly bombings on the resort island of Bali.

"I am saddened by the news of the tragic bombings in Bali
which has caused loss of lives and considerable number of wounded
persons," said the message released in English by the king's
principal private secretary.

"I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy and condolences to
your excellency and, through you, to the bereaved families, and
to the wounded, a speedy and safe recovery," the message said.

At least 22 people in addition to three suicide bombers were
killed in Saturday evening's blasts. -- AFP
