Thai drug dealers to be executed soon:

JAKARTA: The Attorney General's Office (AGO) announced on Wednesday that they would execute two convicted Thai drug dealers within 30 days after the Medan Prosecutor's Office received the copy of the Supreme Court's decision from the Medan District Court.

AGO spokesman Kemas Yahya Rahman said that the Medan District Court had notified him that they had received the documents for Saelow Praseart, 58, and Namsong Sirilak, 34, from the Supreme Court, but they had not yet sent them to the Medan Prosecutor's Office.

"The Medan District Court has told me that they will send the copy to the prosecutor's office tomorrow. According to the law, we will execute the convicts within 30 days of receiving the copy," said Kemas. --JP
