Thai Airways responds

We have carried out an investigation and found out that our
agency who handled this promotion program did send a letter to
our customer. Unfortunately the letter did not reach the
passenger's home address.

However, we checked the records of our
lucky winners and found that Burkert was the lucky winner of a
free Jakarta-Bangkok-Jakarta economy-class ticket.

We contacted our head office to request special authorization
for him to claim his ticket to travel from July 15 to Sept. 15
(an extension of two months due to the miscommunication).

We are really sorry that our staff and agency involved in this
case did not do their job as well as they should have, resulting
in our customer's disappointment with our promotion program.
