Textile Museum closed for a month

JAKARTA: The Museum Tekstil's main exhibition room will be
closed down for one month, from April 5 to May 4, as announced by
the City Museum and Restoration Agency on Thursday at the city
administration's official website BeritaJakarta.com.

Head of the Museum, Dewi Rudiati, said the closure was to give
enough preparation time for the organizers of the Portugal
Decorative Arts Exhibition. The exhibition will begin on May 5
and end on July 5.

The agency has also planned to print leaflets for seven
Jakarta historical museums, to renovate Block A of the Maritime
Museum and to renovate the Cut Mutia museum. -- JP
