Texmaco gets ISO license

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed PT Texmaco Jaya Pemalang accepted on Saturday an ISO-9002 certificate for its quality management system.

Texmaco Jaya announced that the certificate was awarded by the Paris-based certification body, Bureau Veritas Quality International, in a ceremony in Semarang, Central Java.

Texmaco, established 35 years ago, is an integrated textile company based in Pemalang, Central Java. It manufactures a wide range of fabric types as well as up-stream products, such as yarn, and downstream commodities, including garments.

So far, four divisions, managed under five separate companies in the Texmaco Group, have accepted ISO-9001 and ISO-9002 quality management certificates. They are its yarn, equipment, weaving and equipment divisions.

ISO-9000 certificate series expire after three years and can only be renewed after a company is audited again. (pwn)
