Texmaco enters Jordan
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's major textile producer Texmaco plans to establish a US$180 million factory in Jordan in cooperation with local and European companies, the Jordan Times reported on Saturday.
The factory, which would be set up in the Qualifying Industrial Zone in the Al Hassan industrial estate, will produce thread as well as other textile-related products, the new daily said.
According to the daily, the factory will start its operation in 2005 and is expected to produce an output worth $250 million annually. (06)
