Test Drive Programme to Attract Visitors to GIIAS 2026
PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) is preparing a lucky draw programme for test drive participants during the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, held from 30 July to 9 August 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang Regency. The variety of car models available for trial and the opportunity to win valuable prizes serve as major attractions amidst numerous choices.
During the exhibition, Suzuki will provide eight cars for direct testing. Two of these are the latest products: the Suzuki XL7 New Alpha Hybrid and the Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro. Additionally, other variants are available, including the Suzuki Fronx, e VITARA, All New Ertiga, Jimny 3-Door, Jimny 5-Door, and Grand Vitara. This diverse selection allows visitors to explore vehicles suited to their needs, ranging from electric and hybrid vehicles to SUVs and family MPVs.
Donny Saputra, Deputy Managing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), stated that this programme is one of Suzuki’s ways to help potential consumers obtain references before deciding on a vehicle. “For most visitors, specification data is not always enough to answer the simplest question: is this car suitable for their daily needs? Therefore, we provide test drive activities as a public space to directly prove seating comfort, visibility, manoeuvrability, and vehicle responsiveness under real conditions,” said Donny.
Visitors stand to gain significant benefits from participating in the Suzuki test drive. Every participant will receive exclusive Suzuki merchandise. As a highlight, one unit of a Suzuki GSX-R150 motorcycle, as well as 10 grams and 5 grams of precious metal (gold), will be drawn at the end of the exhibition period.
The opportunity to win prizes increases further through the ‘Catch the Code’ programme. Visitors who successfully obtain a unique code by scanning QR Codes on Suzuki motorcycles circulating around Jakarta and its surrounding areas will have the chance to enter an additional draw for 5 grams of gold, subject to terms and conditions.
To participate, visitors simply need to register at the Suzuki booth located in Hall 8 by presenting a valid National ID (KTP) and driving licence (SIM A). Once registered, participants will be accompanied by Suzuki professionals and receive feature explanations, as well as vehicle guidance and consultation tailored to their needs.
“We welcome all visitors to try Suzuki vehicles directly in the test drive area. We hope this experience can help the public find the vehicle that best suits their mobility needs, while providing benefits during their visit to GIIAS 2026,” Donny concluded.
