Terry Fox fun run

JAKARTA (JP): The Regent Jakarta Hotel, in cooperation with
the Canadian Embassy and the Indonesian Cancer Foundation, will
hold the fifth annual Terry Fox Run in Jakarta on Sunday.

The starting line will be at the Regent Jakarta Hotel on Jl.
Rasuna Said in South Jakarta and the route will go through Jl.
Sudirman in Central Jakarta heading south towards the Pemuda
statue in South Jakarta.

"Participants will have a choice of either a 10 kilometer or a
five kilometer route before heading back to the hotel for a light
breakfast," Nuni Sutyoko Rasad, public relations manager of the
Regent Jakarta and chairperson of the Terry Fox committee, said
in a written statement on Wednesday.

She said the committee was expecting around 1,500 people to
take part and make their social contribution.

"We're expecting to raise Rp 150 million (US$21,430), which
will be donated to the Indonesian Cancer Foundation's research
program," Nuni said.

Each participant is required to pay Rp 25,000 for the entrance
