Makassar — A suspected terror incident in which unknown assailants threw Molotov cocktails at two students near the campus gate of Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) in South Sulawesi remains under police investigation.
“We are still investigating,” said Rappocini District Police Commissioner Ismail on Friday, 13 March 2026. “We hope to uncover the matter soon. We are still developing the investigation.”
The incident occurred on Wednesday, 11 March at approximately 03:22 WITA in the early morning hours. Two students were injured, sustaining burns from the ignited Molotov cocktails.
