Jakarta (ANTARA) - Terralogiq, in collaboration with Google, will once again host the Map The Way Indonesia 2026 technology forum, scheduled to take place at Google’s Jakarta office on 5 May 2026. The event will focus on the utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI) and location intelligence to support transformation in strategic industries.

The forum coincides with more than 20 years of innovation in the Google Maps Platform, which, since its launch in 2005, has evolved from a consumer navigation application into a global geospatial ecosystem for location-based data decision-making.

Terralogiq’s Chief Technology Officer, Farry Argoebie, stated in a press release received on Tuesday that location data has, in recent years, developed into a crucial foundation for strategic business decision-making.

“Map The Way Indonesia 2026 is here to bridge industry players with real solutions, where AI and location intelligence are used to address operational challenges and uncover previously unseen market opportunities. Companies that do not utilise location data and AI will lose out in operational efficiency within the next 2-3 years,” he said.

The sectors benefiting include logistics and supply chains through optimised distribution route planning, as well as technology companies through the integration of location data with artificial intelligence.

The event will feature several speakers, including Google Maps Platform’s Head of Sales for South East Asia, Jolly Ahuja; Principal Architect for APAC, Anjusha Sandeep Nair; Terralogiq’s Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Hendy; and Chief Technology Officer, Farry Argoebie.

The forum will also include interactive discussion sessions with industry leaders on the practical application of business site selection and risk analysis, as well as a networking forum for executives to explore strategic collaborations within the Google Maps Platform ecosystem.

As the official partner of Google Maps Platform in Indonesia, Terralogiq plays a role in providing implementation strategies tailored to the needs of domestic companies, from the education phase to the technical execution of utilising Maps and AI.

Map The Way Indonesia 2026 is targeted to serve as a catalyst for accelerating national digitalisation through concrete technology implementation to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian industries on a global scale.
