Term "Red Code" at West Jakarta Hotel Revealed, Suspected as Code for Drug Transactions
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency has revealed the term “red code” in alleged narcotics distribution practices at the B Fashion Hotel nightlife venue in West Jakarta.
The term was uncovered from the examination of one of the suspects, Dania Eka Putri alias Mami Dania alias Tania, who acted as the coordinator for ladies companions as well as an intermediary for drug transactions with visitors.
In the official report from the Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Dania stated that the “red code” term began to be implemented after raids on nightlife venues became widespread.
“Since the raids on nightlife venues, B Fashion Hotel has declared ‘Red Code’ and only VIP guests can obtain narcotics through the captain,” said the Director of Narcotics Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, in his statement on Friday (15/5/2026).
According to Dania’s confession, before the implementation of the “red code”, drug distribution at B Fashion was said to occur more openly.
She explained that visitors could purchase narcotics through waitresses who would then contact the room captain so that the “pharmacist” would arrive bringing the drug order to the guest’s karaoke room.
“B Fashion Hotel distributes narcotics through pharmacists coordinated by the captain,” Eko explained.
However, after authorities intensified raids on nightlife venues, access to purchasing narcotics was reportedly tightened and only given to certain guests.
In practice, VIP guests were still able to obtain ecstasy as well as vapes containing etomidate through an internal channel controlled by certain individuals at the entertainment venue.
This was corroborated by statements from several B Fashion and The Seven employees who admitted to knowing about drug transactions and consumption in the karaoke rooms.
“The majority of visitors to B Fashion Hotel and The Seven use drugs in the karaoke rooms,” said Eko.
In addition, police revealed that B Fashion has 24-hour entertainment facilities, ranging from karaoke, nightclubs, spas, saunas, to private VIP room services named The Seven.
According to Dania’s statement, this non-stop operation makes B Fashion attractive to visitors from various backgrounds, including businessmen, officials, and rogue officers.
The National Police Criminal Investigation Agency seized a total of 16 ecstasy pills and 111 vapes containing etomidate in the operation.
“The conversion of souls saved totals 127 souls, the conversion value (of the evidence) is Rp 682 million,” Eko stated.
