Tension During the 2026 Integrated TNI Operation Exercise

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) held an Integrated Operation Exercise in 2026 at Todak Beach, Dabo Singkep, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands, on Wednesday (5/8/2026). The operation displayed the combat capabilities of the Trisila Nusantara Shield from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The simulation involved various weaponry systems, including the domestically produced AKM KI-50 kamikaze drone, the firing of two C-705 missiles from the KRI Sampari-628, and the landing of marine troops. Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin was present to observe the exercise, which also featured an attack by an unmanned surface vessel (USV) and the penetration of amphibious reconnaissance troops towards their targets.
