Tense atmosphere as Mohan swears in nine Echelon II officials of the Mataram City Government

The Mayor of Mataram, Mohan Roliskana, swore in nine structural officials within the Mataram City Government. The swearing-in took place at the Pendopo of the Mataram Mayor, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on Thursday (5 March 2026).

DetikBali observers noted a tense atmosphere among several Echelon II officials, who looked anxious as their names were called aloud, one by one.

“I would like to extend my congratulations, and I hope you will all carry out your duties to the best of your ability. This is the first mutasi we have conducted in Ramadan. And we will carry out mutasi in larger numbers to fill the structural posts that are still vacant,” Mohan said after swearing in the officials on Thursday.

“I urge those newly sworn in — you are all still relatively young — besides the responsibilities I am giving you, I hope you will stay enthusiastic and work hard. I ask you to build a system; for instance, how to build communication is important. Do not let subordinates feel uncomfortable with you and avoid movements that cause harm,” he added.

On the other hand, Mohan reminded the nine Eselon II officials of the Mataram City Government to avoid things that trigger issues with financial policy. “Once I remind you: this city has become a model anti-corruption city. Therefore, be careful in managing financial policy. Please be careful, stay focused, and remain loyal to the leadership,” he concluded.

• Bramantio Ganeru as Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) Mataram

• Muzakir Walad as Head of the Social Services Department (Dinsos) Mataram

• Ahmad Zulfikar as Head of the Population Control and Family Planning Office (DPPKB) Mataram

• Bachtiar Yulianto as Head of the Fisheries Department Mataram

• Budi Wartono as Head of the City Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Kota Mataram

• Ida Wayan Putra Ekantara as Head of the Department of Labour (Disnaker) Mataram.
