The storage warehouse for tens of thousands of electric motorcycles intended for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme has not been placed under seizure by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung).

Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that his team has not yet needed to take temporary control, even though the 21,000 EMMO-brand electric motorcycles are part of the evidence in the corruption investigation into the MBG programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

The investigative team did not place a seal on the electric motorcycle warehouse in the Sentul area of Bogor, West Java. “It wasn’t sealed,” Syarief said when contacted on Monday (15/6/2026).

Without a seal from investigators, the storage facility remains operational. Furthermore, because the warehouse was not sealed, the items inside, including the electric motorcycles that are part of the investigation, do not need to be seized.

“So evidence does not have to be the procured items,” he said.

Some of the electric motorcycles that are the subject of the case have indeed been seized by investigators to serve as evidence. However, Syarief said his team does not need to seize all of them. “Not everything has to become evidence,” he stated.
