The cloud business unit of global technology company Tencent, Tencent Cloud, has officially introduced its latest suite of artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions at the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) 2026.

This innovation is designed to redefine how games are developed, played, and protected through enhanced connectivity, creativity, and security.

As a leader in the Omdia Market Radar: Cloud Platforms for Games – 2025 report, Tencent Cloud is leveraging decades of industry experience to empower game developers worldwide through the latest generation of AI technology.

One of the key innovations introduced is a strategic update to the Game Multimedia Engagement Solution (GMES) through the GVoice feature. This technology integrates cutting-edge AI to create clearer and more intelligent in-game interactions through three flagship features.

Shichuan Liu, Director of Game Solutions at Tencent Cloud, emphasised the importance of community aspects in modern gaming. “Today’s games are more than just entertainment; they are dynamic communities where players connect, collaborate, and create together. As the latest enhanced solution in our GMES ecosystem, GVoice is designed to strengthen these connections, offering instant response, seamless cross-language translation, and natural, engaging interactions,” said Shichuan.

Tencent Cloud has also strengthened game integrity with holistic security solutions through the combination of EdgeOne and Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE). EdgeOne offers server stability with ultra-low latency and can reduce malicious traffic from 80% to 0.2% in real-time. Meanwhile, ACE provides a behaviour-detection-based anti-cheat system to ensure a fair gaming ecosystem.

On the development side, Tencent launched the HY 3D AI creation engine, a solution that enables the creation of high-quality 3D assets from text, image, or sketch inputs in just minutes. This technology has already begun to be adopted by various global partners, including Maxon, which plans to integrate the engine into Cinema 4D by the end of 2026.

To date, Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure has become the backbone for numerous popular titles including PUBG MOBILE, Delta Force, and Honour of Kings.

Through its “Play Well with Tencent Cloud” vision, the company is committed to continuing to support developers in achieving scalability and long-term success in the global market.
