Ten vehicles involved in a multi-vehicle crash on the Cipularang Toll Road, two killed

Ten vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash on kilometre 93 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta, on Thursday night (5 March 2026). As a result, two people died and others sustained minor and serious injuries, and a lane was temporarily impassable.

‘As a result of the incident, two people died and four people sustained serious injuries,’ said Agni Mayvinna, Senior Manager Representative Office 3 of Jasa Marga, in a formal statement received.

He said all victims who had been evacuated were taken to Radjak Purwakarta Hospital for further treatment. Officials have evacuated the victims and the vehicles involved in the accident.

‘At 20:59 WIB, one lane had been passable and at 21:43 WIB, two lanes had been passable again for road users,’ he said.
