At 20:59 WIB, one lane could be traversed, and at 21:43 WIB, two lanes had been reopened for traffic. Earlier, the accident occurred at 20:18 WIB. All lanes were closed at the time of the crash. ‘The accident involved ten vehicles and caused all lanes to be impassable. It is still being handled by on-site officers,’ Panji Satriya, Head of Marketing and Communications Department, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, said in a statement. Based on preliminary information from on-site officers, two people died and four were seriously injured. All victims had been evacuated to Radjak Purwakarta Regional General Hospital for further treatment. ‘Jasa Marga apologises for the inconvenience experienced during the evacuation process,’ he said.
