Jakarta - The Indonesian Composite Index (IHSG) recovered from early losses and closed in positive territory during the morning trading session on Tuesday, 10 March 2026. A number of shares were sold by foreign investors during the session.

The IHSG initially fell 2.2% and nearly touched the 7,500 level in early trading, but gains narrowed to just 0.71%, rising 52 points to 7,389.51 at the close of the first session.

A total of 443 shares gained value, 227 declined, and 145 remained flat. Transaction value reached Rp10.62 trillion, involving 22.30 billion shares across 1.25 million transactions. Market capitalisation increased to Rp13.256 trillion.

Nearly all trading sectors strengthened, with the largest gains recorded in raw materials and basic consumer goods, whilst only the infrastructure and technology sectors weakened today. Several issuers identified as main drivers of IHSG performance today include ASII, BRMS, BBCA, MBMA and DSSA.

Throughout midday trading, foreign investors recorded net selling of Rp1.2 trillion across the entire market, comprising Rp2.6 trillion in foreign purchases and Rp3.9 trillion in foreign sales.

Amid these transactions, several shares saw the heaviest selling pressure from foreign investors. The following shares recorded the largest net foreign selling during the morning trading session:

  • PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) - Rp80.7 billion

  • PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) - Rp79.9 billion

  • PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) - Rp68.8 billion

  • PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (BUVA) - Rp65.0 billion

  • PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) - Rp64.2 billion

  • PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) - Rp57.2 billion

  • PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) - Rp42.0 billion

  • PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) - Rp40.5 billion

  • PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) - Rp32.9 billion
