Luxury cars such as a red Ferrari and a silver Porsche, along with motorcycles like the Harley Road Glide, were displayed in front of Gate 6 at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) as Jakarta residents enjoyed the Car Free Day (CFD). Several residents were enticed by the array of luxury items, which turned out to be confiscated assets being auctioned by the Attorney General’s Asset Recovery Agency (BPA Kejagung).

The confiscated items exhibited in front of Gate 6 at Gelora Bung Karno on Sunday (10/5) included a red Ferrari car, a silver Porsche car, a Ducati motorcycle, and a Harley Road Glide motorcycle. In addition, there were luxury bags from brands such as Hermes, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. There were also pieces of jewellery like necklaces, rings, and bracelets, as well as gold paintings.

These items were displayed and could be viewed directly by residents engaging in activities during the Sudirman CFD. Residents could check prices directly and learn how to open an auction account on site.

The Head of BPA Kejagung, Kuntadi, stated that the exhibition at CFD served as outreach on auction procedures. It also served as a measure of BPA’s integrity.

“This event is held to open ourselves up more, to measure our integrity better, and to accelerate the sales process for recovering state losses and losses to the public as victims of criminal acts,” Kuntadi said at the location.

400 Items Auctioned with Rp 100 Billion Target

BPA Kejagung is auctioning a total of 400 state-confiscated assets, with some displayed during the Jakarta CFD. Kejagung targets a total of Rp 100 billion for all successful auction sales.

“Of course, we have a target. For non-tax state revenue (PNBP) itself, we have a target of Rp 3 trillion something. But for this BPA Fair activity, we are targeting Rp 100 billion. The items we display are to be sold for Rp 100 billion,” Kuntadi said.

Kuntadi explained that Kejagung is currently working to sell a total of 400 items. Meanwhile, around 300 items are ready to be auctioned to the public.

“For this time, out of the 400 we are trying to sell, after valuation, around 300 are ready to be sold. There are many: cars, land, houses, jewellery, paintings, gold, sculptures too,” he added.

How to Participate in the BPA Kejagung Auction

How can residents participate in the auction? Residents can access lelang.go.id with a bidding deadline of 21 May 2026. Those wishing to join the auction must create an auction account, and assistance for account creation is available from officers at the CFD.

“First of all, of course, you need an account. Today, we have prepared a booth to help the public open accounts,” Kuntadi said.

Next, residents serious about bidding can pay a deposit. Then, the account will be used to access the auction website.

“After that, pay the deposit, and after paying the deposit, on the specified day and time, participate in the auction activity,” he explained.

CFD Residents Keen to Haggle

Nasihin, a resident of Bintaro, said he was very interested in the displayed Ducati and Harley Glide motorcycles. He even inquired about how to join the auction and took selfies in front of all the luxury vehicles.

“I’m just asking around for now. We’ll haggle later. But we’re more interested in motorcycles, especially two-wheelers. We’re checking them out first,” Nasihin said when met at the location.

Nasihin came with Yudi, who was actually jogging to enjoy the CFD atmosphere with other residents. However, the luxury cars and motorcycles at Gate 6 caught their attention.

“We’re just exercising, passing by. Saw something interesting, oh it’s an auction,” he said.

Meanwhile, Eri, a resident of Cipondoh, Tangerang, said she was delighted to see the luxury Porsche 911 Speedster. However, she admitted she could only take selfies without intending to bid.

“I want it so much. That’s why I took a photo earlier. As for joining the auction, not yet. I can take the photo, but can’t pay for it, ha-ha-ha…,” Eri said.

Eri was enjoying the CFD with her husband; they stumbled upon the luxury vehicle exhibition at GBK and were curious to see it up close. “We’re just doing the usual CFD, jogging. We saw, what’s this, luxury cool cars. I like cars like this, but buying them is hard,” she added.
