PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk. (TSPC) has partnered with Chinese pharmaceutical company Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. to form a joint venture focused on developing the biopharmaceutical business in Indonesia. The plan was disclosed by TSPC through an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Friday (17/7/2026). The two companies will establish a new entity named PT Tempo CTTQ Biopharmaceutical Indonesia, which is expected to become a strategic vehicle for expanding the development and marketing of biotherapy products in the domestic market. The management of Tempo Scan Pacific explained that the establishment of the joint venture is being carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 31/POJK.04/2015 concerning Disclosure of Material Information or Facts by Issuers or Public Companies. TSPC has not yet disclosed the investment value or the shareholding composition of each party in PT Tempo CTTQ Biopharmaceutical Indonesia. This information will be conveyed after all legal documents related to the establishment of the joint venture are officially signed. With the formation of this joint venture, Tempo Scan Pacific is not only expanding its business portfolio but also opening up opportunities to accelerate the development of the biopharmaceutical industry in Indonesia through collaboration with a global player possessing extensive experience and cutting-edge technology. As of the first quarter of 2026, the company posted revenue of Rp 3.41 trillion, an increase of 4.12% year-on-year. However, net profit fell 14.03% year-on-year to Rp 351.68 billion. During this period, the pharmaceutical segment contributed Rp 1.1 trillion in revenue, consumer products and cosmetics contributed Rp 1.22 trillion, and distribution services contributed Rp 1.09 trillion.
