Tempo Scan Group has officially launched the Tempo Scan Kasih Mulia Foundation (TSKM) to bring together and strengthen its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The initiative was announced to coincide with the first anniversary of the death of Kartini Muljadi, one of the group’s co-founders.

The foundation was proposed by Tempo Scan Group Executive Chairman Handojo S. Muljadi to extend the social impact of the group’s work and put into practice the values and example set by Kartini Muljadi.

Transforming corporate social activities

I Made Dharma Wijaya, President Director of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk and Vice-Chair of the TSKM Foundation, said its establishment was a strategic step to bring the company’s CSR programmes under one umbrella. Previously, the programmes had been run on an ad hoc basis.

“The Tempo Scan Kasih Mulia Foundation was established to bring together all corporate social initiatives. Previously, CSR programmes were carried out on an ad hoc basis in response to immediate needs,” Made said on Thursday (15 October 2026.

He added that creating a formal organisation would help ensure the programmes’ continuity through internal funding commitments and active employee participation.

“Through this official foundation, all programmes will be planned systematically, both in terms of implementation and the commitment to sustainable funding from the founders and employees. Employee contributions are not limited to financial support; participation as mentors and support volunteers is also extremely valuable,” he said.

TSKM Foundation adviser Andi Mallarangeng said the foundation was the company’s way of honouring Kartini Muljadi’s legacy through practical action and social contributions.

“Tempo Scan Group Executive Chairman Handojo Muljadi has chosen to set an example and carry forward the example, fighting spirit and inspiration of the late Kartini Muljadi through concrete action and social contributions, which we are launching today with the establishment of the Tempo Scan Kasih Mulia Foundation,” Andi said.

TSKM Foundation Treasurer Liza Prasodjo said that, at the initial stage, all funding would come from internal donors among Tempo Scan Group’s co-founders. The foundation is not currently accepting funding from outside the company or from the public.

It is also relying on active participation from employees across the Tempo Scan family in its CSR programmes. Employees could, for example, act as support workers or mentors for people with disabilities taking part in internships or training programmes within the group.

“Going forward, members of the wider Tempo Scan family may also take part in other activities that support the implementation of our CSR programmes,” she said.

The foundation’s planned initiatives include an equal-opportunities programme for people with disabilities, an empowerment and digitalisation programme to help small businesses enter e-commerce, and a programme offering hope and support to cancer patients.

The foundation is expected to carry forward the practical work and inspiration of Kartini Muljadi, one of Tempo Scan Group’s co-founders.
