Temas AGM approves Rp228 billion dividend distribution
The maritime transport services company PT Temas Tbk (TMAS) has agreed to a dividend distribution of Rp228 billion for the 2025 financial year during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). The dividend amounts to Rp4 per share, or approximately 40 per cent of the net profit of Rp553 billion recorded for the 2025 financial year.
“The dividend amount for the 2025 financial year has been approved,” stated TMAS President Director Ricky Effendi during a public expose following the AGM in Jakarta on Tuesday. Ricky expressed optimism regarding the continuation of the company’s strategic pillars for 2_026, which include fleet addition, renewal, and the development of environmentally friendly vessels.
Throughout 2025, the company added a net of seven new ships, driving a 17 per cent increase in transport capacity. The fleet now comprises 57 vessels with a total capacity of 28,542 TEUs and a deadweight tonnage of 464,701 DWT. Furthermore, the average age of the fleet has improved, decreasing from 15 years in 2023 to 13 years in 2025.
TMAS Business Development Director Ganny Zheng confirmed that the company will continue to strengthen its business expansion amidst the growth of the national container transport industry. To support operational capacity development, the company has prepared a capital expenditure (capex) budget of Rp2.5 trillion for 2026. Most of this capex will be allocated to purchasing new ships, fleet renewal, procuring port support equipment, and developing port infrastructure.
Looking towards 2026, the company is committed to continuing its fleet expansion as part of its operational scalability strategy, focusing on increasing service capacity while maintaining efficiency and competitiveness. The company is also preparing for the operation of an LNG plant, targeted to begin in the second half of 2026. Additionally, they are expanding integrated logistics services and continuing a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) partnership with PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas to extend the Tanjung Priok pier from 340 metres to 485 metres.
For 2026, the company targets service revenue of Rp5.53 trillion, representing growth of more than 27 per cent compared to the 2025 revenue of Rp4.34 trillion. To achieve this, the company will optimise its capacity expansion by opening new routes and increasing the load factor of every vessel. Service quality and fleet safety remain the company’s priorities, adhering to both national and international shipping industry standards.
Regarding global geopolitical developments, Ganny ensured that the company remains vigilant, particularly concerning tensions in the Middle East. While such conflicts do not directly impact the company’s business, international geopolitics remain a factor influencing fuel price volatility and global supply chain dynamics. In 2025, TMAS recorded total service revenue of Rp4.34 trillion, with a net profit of Rp553 billion. Total company assets increased to Rp5.29 trillion by the end of 2025, reflecting a solid financial position and significant growth potential.
