Telkomsel, XL, and Indosat Roaming Costs for Hajj Pilgrimage 2026

The 2026 Hajj pilgrimage is fast approaching, with prospective Indonesian pilgrims beginning to depart from 21 April 2026. In addition to physical and mental preparations, one essential aspect that should not be overlooked is arranging internet quotas to support daily communication needs while in the Holy Land.

ANTARA has compiled the roaming costs from various mobile operators, from Telkomsel to Indosat, on Monday, to help prospective Hajj pilgrims select the most suitable internet package for their communication requirements.

Telkomsel

Based on Telkomsel’s website, the roaming package for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage is available as the Internet RoaMAX Haji package, starting from Rp500,000 for 20 days with a total quota of 17 GB, comprising quota for Saudi Arabia, transit countries, and domestic Indonesian quota.

There is also a package priced at Rp720,000 for 30 days with a total quota of 25 GB, consisting of 22 GB for Saudi Arabia, 1 GB for transit countries, and 2 GB for domestic Indonesian quota.

Finally, Telkomsel offers the highest-priced roaming internet package for Hajj pilgrims, valid for 50 days at Rp880,000. The total quota provided reaches 32 GB, with details of 29 GB for Saudi Arabia, 1 GB for transit countries, and 2 GB domestic quota.

For 3 customers, there is a special package for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage called Tri Ibadah. Two package options are available: for 30 days and 45 days.

The 30-day package provides 25 GB quota and 1 GB domestic quota for Rp850,000. Through this package, customers also receive 100 minutes of call quota and 100 SMS quota.

Meanwhile, the 45-day package provides 30 GB quota with 1 GB domestic quota for Rp950,000. It also includes 120 minutes of call quota and 120 SMS.

Purchasers of this package can receive extra quota of up to 2 GB if activated by 21 May 2026.

Axis

Axis customers planning to perform Hajj and wishing to purchase internet quota can choose the Axis Mabrur package.

For a package with a sufficiently long validity period, Axis offers the Axis Mabrur package starting from 1 GB, consisting of 1 GB main quota and 5 GB Saudi Arabia quota, with 45 days validity and a package price of Rp185,000.

Then there is the Axis Mabrur 5 GB package consisting of 5 GB main quota and 15 GB Saudi Arabia quota for Rp525,000 with 45 days validity.

Finally, there is also the Axis Mabrur 5 GB package for 60 days validity, consisting of 5 GB main quota and 20 GB Saudi Arabia quota for Rp645,000.

For Smartfren customers, the roaming cost for Hajj pilgrimage is available starting from Rp449,000 with 30 days validity. The quota obtained includes 15 GB roaming quota and 1 GB national quota.

There is also a package option of Rp499,000 with 45 days validity, with quota details of 17 GB roaming quota and 1 GB national quota.

XL

For prospective Hajj pilgrims interested in using XL services during the pilgrimage, two options are available: purchasing a new starter pack or buying the Hajj & Umrah Internet roaming package.

For starter pack purchases, it is available starting from Rp355,000 for 45 days validity with a total quota of 20 GB, consisting of 10 GB for Indonesia and 10 GB for Saudi Arabia.

There is also a starter pack option priced at Rp745,000 for 60 days validity with a total quota of 50 GB, consisting of 25 GB for Indonesia and 25 GB for Saudi Arabia.

For roaming packages, the Hajj and Umrah Internet package is available with validity from 45 to 60 days.

There is a package priced at Rp185,000 for 6 GB quota, consisting of 5 GB Saudi Arabia quota and 1 GB Indonesia quota with 45 days validity.

Then there is a package priced at Rp525,000 for 20 GB quota, consisting of 15 GB in Saudi Arabia and 5 GB Indonesia with 45 days validity.

Finally, there is a package priced at Rp645,000 for 25 GB quota, consisting of 20 GB in Saudi Arabia and 5 GB Indonesia, with 60 days validity.

For IM3 users, Indosat offers packages for 20 days, 30 days, and 45 days for Hajj pilgrims through the Umroh Haji Internet package.

The 20-day internet package is available for Rp350,000 with 10 GB quota valid for all operators in eight countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, Jordan, and Israel.

Meanwhile, the 30-day package is available for Rp500,000 with 15 GB quota valid for all operators in the eight countries mentioned above.

Finally, there is a 45-day package priced at Rp650,000 offering 20 GB internet quota valid for all operators in the eight countries.

These internet packages become active from the first time the user arrives at a destination included in those eight countries.
