Telkomsel has implemented over 100 artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases across network operations, customer service, sales, and IT automation. The impact has been significant: Autonomous Network technology helps predict and resolve potential service disruptions in real-time, reducing downtime duration by 3x and accelerating incident response by over 40%, thereby ensuring streaming, gaming, working, and other digital activities remain stable. On the customer service front, AI automation utilising intelligent virtual assistants, Veronika and Ted, has reduced resolution costs by 78% whilst simultaneously improving customer satisfaction.
Technology Innovation of the Year: Secure Verification Without OTP, First Integrated with Firebase
Telco Verify 2.0 introduces the world’s first SIM-based number verification integrated with Google Firebase Authentication, enabling instant and automatic application login whilst protecting against OTP interception, SIM swap fraud, and account takeover risks. This solution strengthens security for the banking, fintech, e-commerce, and digital services sectors, and aligns with the global GSMA Open Gateway initiative to standardise network capabilities for developers.
