Telkomsel has reinforced its regional leadership by winning two awards, Telco to Ace Mobile App and Telco to Ace Brand, at the Twimbit Telecom Awards 2026 on 21 May 2026. The awards were organised by Twimbit, a Singapore-based customer experience and technology consultancy known for its independent research and evaluation in the Asia-Pacific telecommunications industry.

Competing against leading telecommunications companies, Telkomsel was recognised as one of the best through a rigorous assessment process involving the top nominations in each category. The event also featured the Twimbit Telecom Summit as a strategic forum discussing the role of AI in the future transformation of the telecommunications business.

The Telco to Ace Mobile App award was given to the MyTelkomsel application, which delivers an integrated end-to-end digital experience where all digital needs can be accessed through a single platform. Customers can access various connectivity services with AI-based features.

Telkomsel also received recognition through the Telco to Ace Brand award for its strength and consistency in building a strong and trusted brand amidst an increasingly dynamic telecommunications industry. This success is supported by Telkomsel’s ability to deliver customer experience as part of its brand promise and maintain consistency in service and communication.

Complementing this achievement, Telkomsel’s IT Director, Joyce Shia, also received the Twimbit Trailblazer Award for her success in leading technological transformation, including the implementation of various modernisation initiatives within the organisation’s IT environment.

“We understand that customers need meaningful and intuitive services in their daily lives. Telkomsel is committed to continuously improving the digital experience, so customers can enjoy a seamless experience across every service we provide, as a manifestation of our commitment to Serve Wholeheartedly,” said Joyce.

Telkomsel’s Director of Planning and Transformation, Wong Soon Nam, added that the company continues to push the implementation of AI to improve service quality and operational efficiency. “Our focus is to ensure that every innovation delivers real added value for customers. This achievement further strengthens Telkomsel’s position as an Indonesian operator with leading end-to-end capabilities, from network quality and digital ecosystem strength to integrated AI-based technology implementation,” he said. “This accomplishment reinforces Telkomsel’s position as a leader in Indonesia’s telecommunications industry, with excellence that is not only visible through global recognition but also through consistency in delivering tangible and measurable customer experiences,” he added.
