Telkomsel Wins Award for Widest 5G Network in Bali

Telkomsel received the Commendable Business Programme Award for the Telecommunications Operator with the Widest 5G Network in Bali at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026. The award was presented during an event at The Trans Resort Bali’s Grand Ballroom on Friday (3/7/2026) and was accepted by Dhany Wicaksono Handoyo, Manager of Household Consumer Business Growth and Analytics for the Bali Nusra Region.

The award recognises Telkomsel as an operator that consistently strives to develop the digital ecosystem while supporting the needs of international tourists on the Island of the Gods. This effort is carried out consistently by improving services and expanding the Hyper 5G network in Bali. To date, Telkomsel has established hundreds of 5G service points in strategic areas or tourism centres such as Kuta, Nusa Dua, Canggu, and Sanur. The presence of a fast, extensive, and reliable network enables a high-quality digital experience.

In addition, Telkomsel provides international roaming services, Tourist Prepaid SIM cards, and eSIMs that make it easy for foreign tourists to enjoy high-speed connectivity as soon as they arrive in Bali. These various services have made Telkomsel the primary telecommunications operator of choice for international visitors needing communication and digital access while travelling on the Island of the Gods.

The detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026 is an appreciation event organised by detikBali to honour individuals, institutions, communities, and businesses deemed innovative and to have made real contributions to the progress of Bali and the Nusa Tenggara region. The awards are given to various parties considered successful in driving development, economic growth, and social strengthening in the region through programmes and innovations that have a direct impact on the community. This year’s event featured six award categories.
