Telkomsel Widens Eid al-Adha Sacrificial Animal Distribution in Jabotabek and West Java
Telkomsel distributed 112 sacrificial animals in Jabotabek and West Java during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha celebration as part of its ‘Sambungkan Senyuman’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Nationally, the company delivered 590 animals in 2026, comprising 109 cattle and 481 goats or sheep, benefiting approximately 40,000 recipient families across various regions. In Jabotabek and West Java alone, 12 cattle and 100 goats or sheep were distributed.
Assistance was provided through over 600 distribution points in various forms, including live animals and ready-to-eat meals, targeting needy communities, charities, hospitals serving vulnerable groups, and areas with special needs.
Vice President of Consumer Business for Jabotabek and West Java at Telkomsel, Tuty R. Afriza, stated the Qurban programme reflects the company’s commitment to supporting communities. ‘Each year, we ensure assistance reaches those in need and genuinely benefits them across Jabotabek and West Java,’ she said.
She added that implementation involves humanitarian organisations, local SMEs, and strategic partners, aiming to create social impact while supporting local economic activity.
Vice President of Network Operations for Jabotabek and West Java, Iswandi, said cross-sector collaboration in Qurban demonstrates unity to extend community benefits. ‘The more stakeholders involved, the wider the benefits for the region. We believe this collective effort brings joy and greater meaning to recipients,’ he said.
Iswandi added consistent aid delivery strengthens community ties and embodies Telkomsel’s ‘Melayani Sepenuh Hati’ (Serving with Heart) spirit. ‘Telkomsel is present not only through digital services but also tangible care in daily life,’ he explained.
He noted the sacrificial animals come from company contributions, employee donations, and strategic partners entrusting donations for distribution. Telkomsel also engaged local SMEs in procurement and distribution to support economic growth and inclusive social ecosystems.
‘The involvement of local SMEs in procurement and distribution is part of our commitment to fostering community economic growth,’ Iswandi said.
Additionally, Telkomsel invited customers to donate two cattle in Jabotabek and West Java via BenihBaik.com, redeeming 31 Telkomsel Points for a Rp500 donation through the MyTelkomsel app. The campaign runs until 31 May 2026 for all customers wishing to contribute.
