Telkomsel Opens Registration for Indonesia Next, Nurturing AI Digital Talent Network

Mobile operator Telkomsel is once again hosting “Indonesia Next,” an annual digital talent development event that has been running for several years. In 2026, Telkomsel is organising the 10th edition of Indonesia Next with the theme “AI Driven Digital Talents: Enhancing Skills for Future Challenges,” aimed at preparing young talents to face AI-based digital industry transformations. According to Telkomsel, the programme is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry needs through practical, relevant, and future-oriented learning. “Thus, they can develop their best potential and make real contributions to the national digital ecosystem,” it added. Indonesia Next will recruit young talents through roadshows held in April-May 2026 at various campuses, including Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Binus University Bekasi, and Universitas Brawijaya. Active students at D3 to S2 levels from various universities in Indonesia can also register online via the Indonesia Next website. In this decade-marking edition of Indonesia Next, Telkomsel introduces a unique role-based approach. In practice, participants will be mentored to become Hustlers (Project Managers), Hipsters (UI/UX Designers), and Hackers (Programmers). Registration for the 10th Indonesia Next is open until 31 May 2026. The best participants will receive recognition and be designated as The Best Hustler, The Best Hipster, The Best Hacker, and The Team with The Most Innovative Solution.
