Telkomsel Continues to Grow, Net Profit Reaches Rp10.4 Trillion
PT Telkomsel concluded the first half of 2026 with a positive performance, recording revenue of Rp55.6 trillion, a 3.3% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was accompanied by an 8.6% rise in EBITDA to Rp26.1 trillion and an 8.3% increase in net profit to Rp10.4 trillion, reflecting strengthening business fundamentals amidst the transformation of Telkom Group as a national strategic digital holding under the management of Danantara Indonesia.
This performance was supported by a company strategy focused on customer needs through the ‘Serving with All Our Heart’ spirit, strengthening network quality, simplifying products and services, and more disciplined investment. This transformation aligns with the Telkom Group’s direction to strengthen governance, increase business focus, optimise assets, and build an organisation more adaptive to the development of the national digital ecosystem.
Throughout the first half of 2026, mobile business revenue grew by 5.6% to Rp42.8 trillion, while digital business revenue increased by 11% to Rp40.8 trillion. Simultaneously, customer data consumption rose by 0.8% year-on-year to 11.8 million terabytes, indicating the growing role of digital services in supporting community and business activities.
The President Director of Telkomsel, Nugroho, stated that these achievements are the result of customer trust and the company’s consistency in improving service quality. “The achievement of the first half of 2026 is the result of customer trust and the collective effort of all Telkomsel personnel to continue serving with all our hearts. We express our appreciation to all customers, Telkom Indonesia as the parent company, and Danantara Indonesia, which continues to strengthen the transformation direction, governance, and competitiveness of the Telkom Group,” said Nugroho.
In the mobile business, qualitative growth was also reflected in increased customer productivity. The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) rose by 9% to Rp45.6 thousand, with the total number of subscribers reaching 153.5 million. To maintain service quality, as of the end of June 2026, Telkomsel operated approximately 301,000 Base Transceiver Stations (BTS), consisting of 246,000 4G BTS, 6,000 5G BTS, and 49,000 2G BTS. Network development is carried out selectively to provide faster, more stable, and reliable connectivity while maintaining investment efficiency.
In the fixed broadband segment, Telkomsel also calibrated its strategy to build a healthier and more sustainable customer base. This step resulted in approximately 9.5 million customers, with revenue growing by 0.6% quarterly. The Average Revenue Per User increased by 3.4% to Rp210.8 thousand, while the penetration rate of convergence services reached approximately 65%.
Looking ahead, Telkomsel stated it will continue to strengthen network quality, develop convergence solutions, and provide digital services that are increasingly relevant to customers. Supported by the Telkom Group transformation and the management of Danantara Indonesia, the company aims for healthy and sustainable growth. “As a leading digital telecommunications service provider, our responsibility is to ensure that the transformation is truly felt by customers through increasingly reliable networks, more practical services, stronger digital protection, and a continuously improving experience. We will continue to innovate so that every technological advancement provides real benefits to society and the business world in Indonesia,” Nugroho concluded.
