Telkomsel boosts children's numeracy through Sacred Octagon bundle package

Makassar (ANTARA) - PT Telkomsel has opened access to interactive mathematics learning through the Telkomsel x Sacred Octagon Bundling Package as an effort to improve children’s numeracy skills.

General Manager Mobile Consumer Business Telkomsel Region Sulawesi Andrew Mamahit said that through the collaboration with Sacred Octagon, Telkomsel aims to bring learning access closer to children’s daily lives through interactive and easily accessible digital experiences.

“We believe connectivity does not only connect people, but can also open more learning opportunities and develop the potential of the younger generation,” he said in a statement in Makassar on Thursday.

Through the mathematics edu-games service combined with Telkomsel’s digital connectivity, this solution is presented to help create a more enjoyable, easy-to-understand learning experience suited to children’s developmental abilities.

Sacred Octagon is here to change the perspective on mathematics, which has often been considered difficult and frightening, while playing games is often seen merely as entertainment or a way to pass time.

“Both are combined into a fun, easy-to-understand and entertaining learning experience, so that children can sharpen their thinking, logic and confidence while playing,” he said.

Supported by artificial intelligence (AI) technology and adapting the GASING (Gampang, Asyik, Menyenangkan - Easy, Fun, Enjoyable) method developed with Professor Yohanes Surya, Sacred Octagon presents simple, systematic and child-friendly mathematics learning.

With this approach, children are encouraged to be braver in trying, not to give up easily, and to enjoy the learning process together with parents and teachers.
