Telkom's holiday facilities

As a service to people who are celebrate the upcoming
holidays, PT Telkom has prepared telecommunications facilities
such as public telephones with card use, telephone booths and
telephone outlets on the main roads in Java.

We will take the following holidays: Christmas, Dec. 25, New
Year, Jan. 1, 2000 and Idul Fitri, Jan. 8.

PT Telkom's telephone facilities are found along Java's north
coast road (Central Java-Surabaya), the northern stretch of
Tuban-Brondong-Gresik, the southern route of Tuban-Lamongan-
Gresik, the southern route (Central Java-Surabaya), the stretch
between Ngawi-Caruban and Ngawi-Madiun and the north coast route
between Surabaya and Banyuwangi.

In order to support smooth traffic flow, PT Telkom in
cooperation with the main national radio station RRI in Jakarta
will broadcast Idul Fitri information from 23 locations which are
in 12 RRI areas.

The locations are: Tanjungkarang, Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung,
Cirebon, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Semarang, Madiun,
Jember and Surabaya.
