Telkom's billing statements

Telkom's billing statements

From Koran Tempo

For months, the telecommunications company PT Telkom has charged its customers Rp 1,000 a month for the sending of billing statements, which is categorized as a non-telecommunications service fee. In October, the fee will rise to Rp. 1,500.

This must be stopped. Each time a customer pays the phone bill, he will always get the receipt, which has the same data as the billing statement. It is useless and, furthermore, it always comes late.

I suspect that this is just a trick to collect money. Just imagine, from one million customers, the enterprise can take a monthly benefit of Rp 1 billion. What if they have 10 million customers? Telkom senior officers could pocket billions of rupiah very easily.

For days I have tried to contact Telkom through its number 0.800.1.22.2.222, to let them know of my objection, but to no avail. I can only conclude that this is just another trick employed by Telkom.

As some friends of mine, and other parties, have had similar experiences, please allow me to call on Telkom to stop making a fool of its customers.
