TelkomMetra Strengthens Business Strategy Through AdMedika Divestment
PT Multimedia Nusantara (TelkomMetra) has completed the full divestment of PT Administrasi Medika (AdMedika) and its subsidiary, TelkoMedika, to Fullerton Health as part of a strategy to strengthen TelkomGroup’s core business focus in the telecommunications and digital sectors. The divestment was marked by the signing of a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) between TelkomMetra and Fullerton Health on 2 June 2026. Managing Director Business-2 of PT Danantara Asset Management, Setyanto Hantoro, stated that this strategic step aligns with the transformation agenda and portfolio restructuring of state-owned enterprises being driven by Danantara to build more focused, healthy, and globally competitive companies. He added that through directed portfolio structuring and collaboration with global partners like Fullerton Health, this synergy will strengthen the capabilities of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, particularly in the healthcare sector, and create sustainable long-term value for all stakeholders. The divestment is also part of the implementation of Telkom’s medium-term transformation strategy, TLKM 30, specifically through the restructuring of non-core business portfolios to sharpen the company’s concentration on its core telecommunications and digital business. Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini said TelkomGroup continues to execute a disciplined business portfolio structuring strategy to build a more agile, efficient, and value-creation-oriented company. She noted that such strategic partnerships are not merely corporate transactions but part of an effort to create a more optimal business structure so that each entity can grow more aggressively and open up broader innovation opportunities in the future. TelkomMetra President Director Pramasaleh Haryo Utomo viewed the divestment as a strategic momentum to strengthen AdMedika’s long-term added value. He expressed confidence that under Fullerton Health’s ownership, AdMedika is in a solid position to enhance its capabilities, expand its business scale, and access a wider regional healthcare ecosystem while maintaining the strong foundation it has built in Indonesia. AdMedika Group possesses technological capabilities and a track record in the healthcare administration industry, or third-party administrator (TPA) sector, in Indonesia. As part of Fullerton Health, which has regional experience in the Asia Pacific, the collaboration is expected to strengthen AdMedika’s position as a healthcare administration and managed care player in Indonesia. Fullerton Health Group CEO Ho Kuen Loon stated that the acquisition affirms the company’s long-term commitment in Indonesia and represents a sustainable investment in building an integrated healthcare platform. He added that by integrating AdMedika Group into Fullerton Health’s ecosystem, the company is strengthening its operational capabilities in healthcare administration while leveraging its established regional network to meet the growing healthcare needs in Indonesia.
