TelkomGroup Welcomes BGN's Use of Graha Merah Putih
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has responded positively to the plan by the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi Nasional, BGN) to utilise Graha Merah Putih (GMP), which was conveyed to the company through an official letter. This forms part of TelkomGroup’s efforts to optimise its property assets through a fair and proportionate Business to Business (B2B) scheme, whilst continuing to uphold applicable regulations and governance.
“For TelkomGroup, BGN’s plan to lease the GMP building represents a form of asset leveraging that can create new business opportunities, including through the provision of connectivity services and our superior digital solutions,” said Telkom Chief Executive Officer Dian Siswarini, quoted on Tuesday (8/9/2026).
Dian further explained that the optimisation of GMP is also part of the arrangement and clustering of workspace needs across TelkomGroup. Amid the ongoing transformation, this momentum is being used to remap facilities and work locations according to the characteristics and needs of each organisation within TelkomGroup.
“At present, a number of related units remain scattered across various work locations in Jakarta. Through this arrangement, we want to create a more integrated working environment in line with each unit’s stream. The hope is that this will make collaboration easier, work processes more effective, and employee productivity higher,” Dian explained.
The placement of workspaces and BGN’s transition to GMP will be carried out gradually once negotiations and discussions with the relevant parties have been concluded. Telkom assured that the entire process will be conducted whilst safeguarding the continuity of TelkomGroup’s operations and services, and whilst ensuring a better working environment for employees.
During the relocation process, the security, safety and comfort of employees are Telkom’s primary concerns. Telkom also ensured that the entire process complies with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
“Based on the results of surveys and discussions with Telkom, BGN conveyed its plan to utilise GMP for office space as well as several standard workstation facilities. This utilisation will take place after the reorganisation of Telkom’s units and the relocation of existing work equipment to locations agreed upon together,” Dian continued.
Separately, Telkom is also continuing its Telkom Integrated Operation Center (TIOC) rejuvenation programme as part of the company’s technology modernisation cycle. The programme is proceeding with its own planning and phases, encompassing the adoption of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and the implementation of the latest generation of monitoring systems to deliver better services in the future.
Dian explained that the optimisation of GMP is aligned with the workspace arrangement programme within TelkomGroup that had previously been planned. At present, a number of business units remain scattered across various work locations in Jakarta, meaning coordination and collaboration between teams cannot yet run optimally.
“This arrangement is directed towards grouping units according to their business characteristics, so that each unit can occupy a more integrated location. In this way, coordination and collaboration can take place more quickly and effectively, ultimately boosting productivity,” she said.
