TelkomGroup Transformation Shows Results as InfraNexia Posts Positive Performance, Strengthens National Digital Infrastructure
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (InfraNexia) recorded positive financial performance in the first half of 2026, with growth in several key indicators. Opening the first six months of 2026, InfraNexia booked revenues of Rp7.7 trillion. The company’s revenue mix remains dominated by the TelkomGroup ecosystem, in line with its role in supporting the group’s overall connectivity needs. At the same time, revenue from customers outside TelkomGroup in the business portfolio now managed by InfraNexia grew 31% year-on-year to Rp939 billion compared with the same period a year earlier.
This growth also reflects growing confidence among industry players, including telecommunications operators, ISPs, digital service providers and enterprise customers, in the infrastructure managed by InfraNexia. It strengthens the company’s position as an open telecommunications infrastructure provider supporting the broader connectivity needs of industry.
As part of TelkomGroup, InfraNexia supports the commitment of Danantara Indonesia to reinforce the foundations of the national digital economy. The transformation undertaken by InfraNexia aligns with efforts to drive more productive and competitive management of state assets, capable of creating value and sustainable economic impact.
Since the transfer of part of the wholesale fibre connectivity business and assets from PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), effective 1 January 2026, InfraNexia has entered a new phase with a larger operational scale and greater infrastructure capabilities. This transformation represents a strategic step as a new growth engine, driving more focused and efficient network asset management while opening up wider monetisation and collaboration opportunities in the external market.
In terms of portfolio, the Wholesale Network segment, which comprises Metronexia, Wavenexia and IP Nexia, recorded revenue growth of 12.7% year-on-year after management was transferred to InfraNexia. This growth was underpinned by consistent demand for core network services and expanding capacity requirements amid rising digital activity. The FTTx & Infrastructure Sharing segment also continues to strengthen InfraNexia’s business portfolio, particularly in supporting connectivity needs and optimising the use of infrastructure sharing. Through this portfolio, InfraNexia is driving a more efficient infrastructure provision model whilst opening up wider collaboration opportunities for all industry players.
On the profitability side, InfraNexia recorded an EBITDA margin of 54.5% in the first half of 2026. This achievement was supported by operational discipline, cost optimisation, digitalisation of business processes and increasingly integrated asset management.
“External revenue growth and InfraNexia’s positive performance show that the business processes we run are beginning to strengthen InfraNexia’s competitiveness. Beyond expanding our business scale, our focus remains on ensuring that our assets and capabilities are managed more productively, efficiently and in line with industry needs,” said InfraNexia President Director Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf.
In line with the expansion of its business scale, InfraNexia has also strengthened its organisational capacity. The company’s headcount rose from 1,128 to 1,338 employees over the first half of 2026. This reinforcement was carried out to support increasing operational complexity, service development and the acceleration of the company’s transformation agenda.
Continuing this positive momentum, Lukman said the first half of 2026 was an important period for InfraNexia in building a stronger and more competitive foundation as a digital infrastructure company. These achievements prove that the transformation undertaken is beginning to deliver positive impact on growth and efficiency. He also affirmed that InfraNexia will continue to improve service quality through innovation and network modernisation initiatives, as well as expand collaboration with all industry players. These steps form part of the company’s efforts to optimise infrastructure assets and deliver greater value to customers, shareholders, industry and the nation.
“Through synergy with Danantara Indonesia, InfraNexia as part of TelkomGroup is optimistic it can continue to strengthen its role as a driver of the national digital ecosystem. With operational discipline and consistent execution of transformation, we are committed to delivering reliable, efficient and sustainable digital infrastructure whilst creating value for all stakeholders,” Lukman concluded.
