Jakarta, VIVA – As Indonesia’s leading telecommunications company, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has received three awards at the Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026 event, organised by detikcom in collaboration with the Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) on Friday (17/4). This achievement serves as recognition of TelkomGroup’s sustained contributions to maintaining network resilience, expanding digital access, and promoting connectivity equity across remote, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions throughout Indonesia.

At the event, TelkomGroup secured three awards: Best Company in Maintaining Digital Connectivity Resilience Across Indonesia for PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, received by Telkom’s Director of Network Nanang Hendarno; Best Pioneer Mobile Operator for Digital Connectivity Equity in 3T Regions for PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), received by Telkomsel’s Director of Network Indra Mardiatna; and Best Company in Enhancing Signal Services in 3T Regions for PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), received by Telkomsat’s Director of Commercial Andri Yunianto.

Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration in advancing national digital connectivity equity. “The government cannot operate alone; we need cooperation with various parties. The involvement of community elements, industry, and strategic partners facilitates the government’s efforts to ensure that connectivity runs smoothly across all regions,” she stated.

These awards further affirm TelkomGroup’s strategic position as an enabler of the national digital ecosystem with global competitiveness through comprehensive strengthening of connectivity infrastructure, encompassing terrestrial, maritime, and satellite networks. In line with the company’s transformation initiatives, TelkomGroup continues to expand digital capabilities and service quality to meet the increasingly dynamic needs of society, while supporting the acceleration of Indonesia’s digital economic growth.

Telkom’s Director of Network Nanang Hendarno stated that this achievement is the result of collaboration and consistency among all TelkomGroup personnel in building and ensuring the resilience of Indonesia’s digital network.

“We view this award as a mandate to continue maintaining network reliability while expanding service reach to geographically challenging areas. For TelkomGroup, connectivity is not merely infrastructure but an enabler that opens access to education, healthcare services, economic activities, and various opportunities for societal advancement in Indonesia,” Nanang concluded.
