TelkomGroup Secures Three Digital Connectivity Awards for 2026, Proof of Delivering Equitable Access
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), Indonesia’s leading telecommunications company, has won three awards at the Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026 event. The event was organised by detikcom in collaboration with the Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) on Friday (17/4/2026). This achievement serves as recognition of TelkomGroup’s ongoing efforts to maintain network resilience, expand digital access, and promote equitable connectivity to remote, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions across Indonesia. The three awards are: Best Company in Maintaining Digital Connectivity Resilience Across Indonesia for PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, received by Telkom’s Network Director Nanang Hendarno. Additionally, Best Pioneer Cellular Operator for Equitable Digital Connectivity in 3T Regions for PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), received by Telkomsel’s Network Director Indra Mardiatna. The other category is Best Company in Improving Signal Services in 3T Regions for PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), received by Telkomsat’s Commercial Director Andri Yunianto. Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stressed the importance of cross-sector collaboration in promoting national digital connectivity equity. “The government cannot operate alone; it needs cooperation with many parties. The presence of various community elements, industry, and strategic partners makes it easier for the government to continuously ensure connectivity runs well across all regions,” she said. This award further affirms TelkomGroup’s strategic position as an enabler of the national digital ecosystem with global competitiveness through comprehensive connectivity infrastructure strengthening, covering land, sea, and satellite networks. In line with the company’s transformation steps, TelkomGroup continues to expand digital capabilities and service quality to meet the increasingly dynamic needs of society, while supporting the acceleration of Indonesia’s digital economic growth. Telkom Network Director Nanang Hendarno stated that this achievement is the result of collaboration and consistency from all TelkomGroup personnel in building and ensuring the resilience of Indonesia’s digital network. “We interpret this award as a mandate to continue maintaining network reliability while expanding service reach to geographically challenging areas,” Nanang said in a statement on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
