Jakarta — TelkomGroup, together with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, is working to maintain the reliability of telecommunications services in the lead-up to and during the Eid al-Fitr holiday for the year 1447 AH by increasing network capacity and operating TelkomGroup Emergency Command Posts (SIAGA RAFI 2026).

“The entire TelkomGroup ecosystem is committed to collaborating and providing connectivity that supports various digital activities of the community during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr, so that the spirit of gathering and togetherness can remain smooth throughout all regions of Indonesia,” said Telkom Chief Executive Officer Dian Siswarini in a company statement on Saturday.

To support efforts to maintain the quality of telecommunications services, TelkomGroup will operate the SIAGA RAFI Emergency Command Posts on a 24-hour basis from 13 to 30 March 2026.

A total of 22 command posts — comprising nine main posts and 13 operational company posts — will be stationed throughout Indonesia during this period.

The posts, supported by more than 480 personnel and approximately 13,200 field workers, will be operated to ensure stable telecommunications service during Ramadan through the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Telkom’s Network Director Nanang Hendarno stated that the company is building synergy to ensure connectivity services remain reliable during this period.

“TelkomGroup ensures the readiness of infrastructure and network operations end-to-end through cross-entity synergy so that connectivity services remain maintained and reliable,” said Nanang.

According to him, the company is conducting network performance testing, strengthening infrastructure elements, and optimising monitoring systems and information technology equipment to support comprehensive network surveillance during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026.

TelkomGroup projects that fixed broadband service traffic during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026 will increase by 9.2 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching approximately 30.3 Tbps.

To anticipate this increase in service traffic, the company has prepared network capacity of up to 60.7 Tbps so that infrastructure can accommodate the traffic increase during this period.

Additionally, TelkomGroup’s mobile broadband network, which comprises more than 229,000 base transceiver stations (BTS) and covers approximately 97 per cent of Indonesia’s territory, is being reinforced to support various digital activities of the community, ranging from telecommunications and streaming to digital economic activities.
