TelkomGroup Prepares Future Leaders through the Strategic Leadership Development Programme FLDP 2026
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) is organising the Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP) 2026, as part of the company’s commitment to building an excellent and sustainable leadership pipeline up to the highest organisational levels.
A total of 27 top talents have been successfully selected from 270 outstanding candidates through a comprehensive and multi-layered selection process. This programme represents a strategic step for TelkomGroup in strengthening leadership readiness to face the increasingly dynamic digital industry competition, while supporting the company’s transformation agenda through TLKM 30.
The process includes stages of talent nomination and screening, essay-based and Harrison Assessments Talent Solution (HATS) assessments, competency and leadership interviews, up to talent reviews by business units and final approval by the Board of Directors. This multi-layered selection process underscores the position of FLDP as a strategic programme in preparing the future board of TelkomGroup.
Telkom’s Director of Human Capital Management, Willy Saelan, emphasised that FLDP is a strategic investment by the company in preparing future leaders.
“Leadership is the key to the success of a transformation. Through FLDP, we are not only delivering a development programme but also a strategic investment to prepare future leaders up to the highest organisational levels. We want to ensure that every talent has comprehensive readiness, from business capabilities and leadership to the courage to drive transformation,” he stated.
FLDP is an integral part of TelkomGroup’s transformation agenda in ensuring organisational readiness through strengthening adaptive, visionary, and highly competitive leadership capabilities. The programme targets talents with outstanding performance records, while also opening opportunities for alumni of the Great People Scholarship Programme (GPSP) as part of the continuity of the company’s strategic talent development.
FLDP 2026 begins with the Ignite Phase (April 2026–February 2027) as an intensive development stage to build comprehensive leadership readiness. The programme starts with immersive onboarding based on the unlearn and relearn concept, complemented by inspirational sessions with the Board of Directors and the preparation of an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with mentors.
Subsequently, participants undergo development through project-based assignments on real business projects, strategic leadership exposure, and continuous strengthening of future competencies.
The entire process is monitored through periodic evaluations and concludes with a final presentation as an assessment of readiness for the next phase. Through FLDP 2026, TelkomGroup further reinforces its commitment to building excellent, adaptive, and future-ready leadership as the main foundation for maintaining business sustainability and winning competition in the digital transformation era.
