TelkomGroup Partners with F5 to Deliver AI-Secure Connectivity Solutions for Indonesia's Digital Ecosystem
JAKARTA — PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), the operating company of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with F5, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV) to explore strategic cooperation in developing AI Connectivity solutions in Indonesia.
The MoU was signed during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 agenda in Barcelona on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. MWC is a global technology and telecommunications forum that brings together digital industry players worldwide to explore trends, innovations, and collaboration opportunities.
The event serves as a strategic platform for TelkomGroup to expand international partnerships and strengthen the company’s capabilities and positioning within the global digital ecosystem.
During the MWC agenda, Telkom’s Strategic Business Development & Portfolio Director Seno Soemadji held several strategic meetings with various global technology partners to strengthen TelkomGroup’s partnership ecosystem in developing AI-driven digital infrastructure. The agenda included exploring collaboration on hyperscale data centre development, enhancing connectivity solutions, and exploring new business models based on managed services and digital platforms.
TelkomGroup simultaneously leveraged this momentum to promote collaboration that focuses not only on infrastructure development but also on integrating high-value digital services. One key initiative is developing Indonesia’s digital ecosystem through integrating data centres, connectivity, cloud environments, and AI-based application security capabilities.
The MoU between NeutraDC and F5 was signed by NeutraDC Chief Executive Officer Andreuw Th.A.F. and F5 Chief Revenue Officer Chad Whalen, witnessed by Telkom’s Strategic Business Development & Portfolio Director Seno Soemadji.
The collaboration represents a strategic step for both parties to integrate NeutraDC’s data centre and managed services capabilities with F5’s AI security and application delivery solutions, delivering secure, scalable, and future-ready AI-based connectivity services.
As Indonesia’s national data centre service provider with an integrated ecosystem, NeutraDC provides colocation, compute, and connectivity services. Through this collaboration, NeutraDC strengthens the added value of its service ecosystem by providing application security support and multi-cloud environment management for customers.
NeutraDC Chief Executive Officer Andreuw Th.A.F. stated that the collaboration is part of NeutraDC’s strategy to strengthen its positioning as an AI-ready digital infrastructure provider. “Collaboration with F5 is a strategic step for NeutraDC to strengthen AI Connectivity capabilities on top of our data centre infrastructure,” he said in a statement on Friday, 13 March 2026.
By integrating F5’s AI security and application delivery solutions into NeutraDC’s managed services, the company can deliver services that are reliable from an infrastructure perspective, secure, adaptive, and capable of supporting customers’ AI workload and mission-critical application requirements.
He added that this synergy will enrich NeutraDC’s service portfolio, particularly in supporting enterprise customers adopting hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. “We see customer requirements for application security, traffic visibility, and performance optimisation increasingly growing with AI and cloud adoption. Through this collaboration, NeutraDC is ready to be a strategic partner in customers’ end-to-end digital transformation journey,” he added.
F5 Chief Revenue Officer Chad Whalen said Indonesia is a strategic market with significant digital economy growth. F5 is committed to delivering application security and delivery solutions capable of protecting modern applications in multi-cloud and AI-driven environments.
“Through collaboration with NeutraDC, we can integrate F5 technology more closely with local data centre infrastructure, enabling Indonesian customers to obtain integrated, secure, and optimally performing AI Connectivity solutions,” he said.
Telkom’s Strategic Business Development & Portfolio Director Seno Soemadji affirmed that the collaboration is part of TelkomGroup’s efforts to build a nationally competitive digital ecosystem with global standards. The NeutraDC and F5 collaboration reflects TelkomGroup’s commitment to delivering AI-ready and secure-by-design digital infrastructure and platforms. AI-secure Connectivity being offered is not merely a connectivity solution but comprehensive integration between networks, data centres, cloud, and application security.
“By strengthening these capabilities, we are optimistic we can support the acceleration of national digital transformation whilst opening new business model opportunities in the AI-driven economy era,” Seno explained.
This initiative also aligns with the Indonesian Government’s strategic agenda to accelerate national digital transformation, strengthen data sovereignty and security, and build a resilient digital infrastructure foundation to support digital economic growth and artificial intelligence technology adoption across various industrial sectors.
Going forward, the parties will conduct further discussions to develop a structured implementation plan, including technical, operational, commercial, and governance aspects, whilst upholding principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and compliance with regulations applicable in Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, NeutraDC and F5 aim to establish a solid AI Connectivity foundation for Indonesia’s industry players, whilst strengthening national competitiveness in the face of AI-driven digital transformation.
