TelkomGroup Collaborates to Safeguard Service Reliability and National Network Infrastructure
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, together with all TelkomGroup operating companies, is supporting efforts to ensure telecommunications network quality during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, as marked by the joint briefing for the Telecommunications Service Quality Alert Post 2026. The event, organised by Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs in Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2026, was led by Ministry Secretary-General Ismail. Attending were Telkom Chief Executive Officer Dian Siswarini, Telkomsel Chief Executive Officer Nugroho, TelkomGroup executive management, and technical personnel representatives from Telkomsel, InfraNexia, and TelkomAkses.
Ministry Secretary-General Ismail emphasised the importance of collaboration between government, mobile operators, and all stakeholders to ensure citizens can enjoy safe, stable, and quality communications services during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr. TelkomGroup’s presence demonstrates its commitment to working with government, industry players, and stakeholders to maintain telecommunications service quality for the public.
“The entire TelkomGroup ecosystem is committed to collaborating and providing connectivity that supports various digital activities during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr, ensuring that family gatherings remain well-connected across all regions of Indonesia,” said Telkom Chief Executive Officer Dian Siswarini.
To ensure infrastructure and network operational readiness during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, TelkomGroup launched the kick-off for TelkomGroup SIAGA RAFI 2026 Alert Post at the Telkom Integrated Operation Centre (TIOC) Command Centre in Jakarta, with all regional operation posts participating online throughout Indonesia. Operating under the theme “Present Without Ceasing, Serve With All Our Heart,” the TelkomGroup SIAGA RAFI Alert Post will operate 24 hours daily from 13–30 March 2026.
A total of 22 operation posts—comprising 9 primary posts and 13 operating company posts—are supported by over 480 alert post personnel and over 13,200 field personnel to ensure service stability across all Indonesian regions. To strengthen operational coordination, TelkomGroup has also established a dedicated task force involving various entities within the TelkomGroup ecosystem.
Network infrastructure readiness and service operations are orchestrated by PT Telkom Infrastructure Indonesia (InfraNexia), the operating company responsible for managing TelkomGroup’s connectivity infrastructure. Supporting SIAGA RAFI operations, TelkomGroup utilises various Smart Command Centre digital tools to monitor infrastructure and services in real-time through an integrated dashboard. The Telkomcare platform is also used to monitor tickets and alerts at Point of Interest (PoI) locations during RAFI 2026, enabling faster detection and resolution of potential disruptions.
Telkom Network Director Nanang Hendarno stated that TelkomGroup’s network readiness during the RAFI period results from collaboration across all entities in the company ecosystem. “TelkomGroup ensures end-to-end infrastructure and network operational readiness through cross-entity synergy, maintaining reliable connectivity services,” said Nanang.
Nanang added that various preventive measures have been implemented from the outset, including network performance testing, infrastructure strengthening, and optimisation of monitoring systems and IT tools to support more comprehensive network oversight during RAFI 2026. “With TelkomGroup’s full network capabilities, we are committed to maintaining service quality so citizens can enjoy smooth digital experiences across various activity points, including mudik routes and public service centres.”
During this year’s RAFI period, TelkomGroup is projecting fixed broadband traffic growth of 9.2 per cent compared to the previous period, reaching an estimated 30.3 Tbps. To anticipate this surge, TelkomGroup, through InfraNexia, has prepared network capacity of 60.7 Tbps, ensuring infrastructure can accommodate traffic increases and maintain service reliability during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
For mobile broadband, the projected national payload peak is estimated at approximately 70.85 PB, representing an 11.1 per cent increase compared to normal days during this year’s RAFI period. Additionally, TelkomGroup has strengthened mobile broadband network readiness, encompassing over 229,000 base stations with coverage reaching 97 per cent of Indonesia’s territory.
Capacity enhancements have also been implemented across various core network elements and digital platforms to support communications services, streaming, gaming, and various digital activities. Through these collaborative measures and actions, TelkomGroup is committed to ensuring connectivity services remain reliable, allowing citizens to enjoy smooth digital experiences during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr—from communicating with family, enjoying digital entertainment services, supporting various economic activities, and maintaining public productivity in a safe and comfortable manner.
