PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) and all TelkomGroup operating companies are supporting efforts to safeguard network quality ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447H as digital activities increase among the public. The initiative was marked by a joint inspection of the 2026 Optimal Telecommunications Service Quality Alert Post.

The event, organised by Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) in Jakarta on 13 March, was led by Komdigi Secretary-General Ismail. Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini, Telkomsel President Director Nugroho, executives from TelkomGroup operating companies, and technical representatives from Telkomsel, InfraNexia, and TelkomAkses were present.

The attendance demonstrated TelkomGroup’s commitment to collaborating with the government, industry players, and stakeholders in maintaining telecommunications service quality for the public.

In his remarks, Ismail emphasised the importance of collaboration between the government, mobile operators, and all stakeholders to ensure the public could enjoy safe, stable, and quality communication services during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr.

Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini stated that the entire TelkomGroup ecosystem was committed to collaborating and providing connectivity that supports various public digital activities during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr, ensuring family gatherings could proceed smoothly across Indonesia.

To ensure infrastructure and network operational readiness during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, TelkomGroup also launched the Kick-Off of TelkomGroup SIAGA RAFI 2026 Alert Post at the Telkom Integrated Operation Center (TIOC) Command Centre in Jakarta, with online participation from all alert posts across Indonesia. Themed “Present Without Ceasing, Serve with Full Heart”, the TelkomGroup SIAGA RAFI Post will operate 24 hours daily from 13-30 March 2026.

There are 22 alert posts, comprising 9 main posts and 13 operating company posts, supported by over 480 post personnel. More than 13,200 field personnel have been mobilised to ensure service stability across Indonesia.

To strengthen operational coordination, TelkomGroup established a special task force involving various entities within the TelkomGroup ecosystem. The coordination of infrastructure readiness and operational service is orchestrated by PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (InfraNexia), the operating company responsible for managing TelkomGroup connectivity infrastructure.

To support SIAGA RAFI Post operations, TelkomGroup utilises various Smart Command Centre digital tools to monitor infrastructure and services in real-time through an integrated dashboard. The Telkomcare platform is also used to monitor tickets and alerts at Points of Interest (PoI) during RAFI 2026, enabling potential disruptions to be detected and resolved more quickly.

Telkom Network Director Nanang Hendarno explained that TelkomGroup network readiness during RAFI is the result of collaboration across all entities in the company ecosystem. “TelkomGroup ensures end-to-end infrastructure and network operational readiness through cross-entity synergy so that connectivity services remain maintained and reliable,” said Nanang.

He added that various anticipatory measures have been taken from the outset, including network performance testing, infrastructure strengthening, and system monitoring and IT tools optimisation to support more comprehensive network monitoring during RAFI 2026. “With the support of all TelkomGroup network capabilities, we are committed to maintaining service quality so the public can enjoy a smooth digital experience at various activity points, including exodus routes and public service centres,” he concluded.

During this RAFI period, TelkomGroup projects fixed broadband traffic growth of 9.2% compared to the previous period, estimated to reach 30.3 Tbps. To anticipate this surge, through InfraNexia, TelkomGroup has prepared network capacity of 60.7 Tbps so infrastructure is ready to accommodate traffic increases and maintain service reliability during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. For mobile broadband, the projected national peak payload is approximately 70.85 PB, an increase of around 11.1% compared to normal days during this RAFI period.

Additionally, TelkomGroup strengthened mobile broadband network readiness covering more than 229,000 base stations with coverage up to 97% of Indonesian territory. Capacity strengthening was also carried out across various core network elements and digital platforms to support communication services, streaming, gaming, and various public digital activities.

Through these collaborative steps and actions, TelkomGroup is committed to ensuring connectivity services remain reliable so the public can enjoy a smooth digital experience during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr—from communicating with family, enjoying digital entertainment services, supporting various economic activities, to productivity with security and comfort.
