Telkom University Outlines Search Efforts for Missing Student Nadira Az-Zahra

Bandung, VIVA – The disappearance of Nadira Az-Zahra, a student at Telkom University who has been missing since Tuesday, 30 June 2026, continues to draw significant public attention. Amidst the ongoing search efforts, Telkom University has finally disclosed the steps being taken to help locate the student.

Nadira, an active student in the Smart City Information Systems (SIKC) study programme within the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT), class of 2025, was reported missing after saying goodbye to her family before leaving for university. As of Friday, 3 July 2026, there is no definitive information regarding her whereabouts.

The university is currently not only coordinating with the family and the police but is also calling upon the wider community to assist in the search process by sharing accurate and accountable information.

Telkom University Speaks Out on Nadira’s Disappearance

The increasing public attention surrounding this case has prompted Telkom University to issue an official statement. The university confirmed that Nadira Az-Zahra is an active student who is currently the subject of an ongoing search.

The Head of Secretary and Public Relations at Telkom University, Roosdiana Noor Rochmah, explained that the university continues to maintain communication with the victim’s family and the authorities to support the search process.

According to her, all actions taken follow the established procedures and the respective authorities of each party to ensure the search process remains effective.

An Appeal to the Public for Assistance

One of the steps taken by Telkom University is an appeal to the public to participate by providing information if they know the whereabouts of Nadira.

“For members of the public who have information regarding the whereabouts of Nadira Az-Zahra or possess information that could assist the search process, we hope you will immediately contact the family,” said Roosdiana in a written statement quoted from tvOnenews on Friday, 3 July 2026.

The university has also shared a contact number for the family that can be reached if anyone obtains information related to Nadira.

“The public can directly contact the number 0813-1313-6784.”

In addition to the family, information can also be reported to the authorities handling the case.

“It can also be reported to the local authorities,” she added.

Urging the Academic Community Not to Spread Hoaxes

Amidst the surge of information circulating on social media, Telkom University has also issued a specific appeal to the entire academic community.
