Telkom University Outlines Search Efforts for Missing Student Nadira Az-Zahra

The case of Nadira Az-Zahra, a Telkom University student whose whereabouts have been unknown since Tuesday, 30 June 2026, continues to draw public attention. Amid the ongoing search efforts, Telkom University has finally outlined the steps it has taken to help locate its student. Nadira, an active student in the Smart City Information Systems (SIKC) programme, Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT), class of 2025, was reported missing after saying goodbye to her family to attend lectures. As of Friday, 3 July 2026, there has been no definitive information regarding her location. The campus is now not only coordinating with the family and police authorities but also inviting the wider community to participate in the search process by disseminating accurate and accountable information. The growing public attention prompted Telkom University to issue an official statement. The campus confirmed that Nadira Az-Zahra is an active student who is currently still being searched for. Head of Secretary and Public Relations at Telkom University, Roosdiana Noor Rochmah, explained that the campus continues to maintain communication with the victim’s family and the authorities to support the search process. According to her, all steps taken adhere to the procedures and authority of each party to ensure the search proceeds effectively. One of the measures taken by Telkom University is inviting the public to participate by providing information if they know of Nadira’s whereabouts. ‘Members of the public who have information regarding the whereabouts of Nadira Az-Zahra or have information that can assist the search process are urged to immediately contact the family,’ said Roosdiana in a written statement. The campus also shared the family’s contact number for anyone who obtains information related to Nadira. ‘The public can directly contact the number 0813-1313-6784.’ In addition to the family, information can also be conveyed to the authorities handling the case. ‘Or to the local authorities,’ she added. Amid the widespread circulation of information on social media, Telkom University also issued a special appeal to its academic community not to spread hoaxes.
